Celtic Punk Kingston- BenjamingsClan/ Disinclined/ CrockOf Bones

Fresh from Heathrow BENJAMING’S CLAN head straight to Kingston for their first ever gig on these shores. Formed in 2013 in the Czech Republic Benjaming’s Clan began life as a straight up Celtic-Punk band but in latter years have become more folk orientated. Their songs still pack a punk rock punch and are characteristically ironic, emotional and filled with enormous positive energy. Expect bagpipes, banjo, trumpet, mandolin, accordion, tin whistle, violin, keyboards and of course drums, guitar and acoustic bass.

CROCK OF BONES are a new north London Alt-folk, Celtic, Irish, Trad band whose backgrounds stretch back to 90s Celtic-Punk, gypsy jazz, dark folk and rock. Using fiddle, accordion, banjo, guitar and double bass and vocals, their set contains originals/ standards/ reels and jigs, from full-pelt foot-stompers like Hot Asphalt to sing-along ballads like the original Ferry.

THE DISINCLINED are a band from South West London. Slightly north of 40 and very south of 60 they are ageing purveyors of punky, gypsy tales. Still celebrating the 2019 release of their fantastic debut album Sing.

Live at The Oak, 98 Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT2 5EN. Tel: 02085490074. Fast becoming Kingston’s #1 music venue due to its versatility and openess. Just a very short walk from Kingston train station and easily accessible from London via Waterloo, Vauxhall and Clapham.

Admission is **FREE** but the bands will have lots of merchandise so support them by buying something. Touring is an expensive business as we all know. Music will start at 7-30pm sharp.
